Follow the Frog
I have always been fascinated by the frog. As a science student we all got one in the lab, to the researcher of biology they have been a valuable source of inspiration and information. Frog populations have been declining worldwide at unprecedented rates, and nearly one-third of the world’s amphibian species are threatened with extinction. Up to 200 species have completely disappeared since 1980, and this is NOT normal: amphibians naturally go extinct at a rate of only about one species every 250 years!!! Yesterday at my evening "pow wow" with friends I spotted a small tree frog and decided to record several images of him. These images were done without a tripod and using tube-extenders on 200 and 300 mm lenses. http://www.cameratales.com/animal-collection
